Does the Christmas Season Stress You Out?

Does the approaching holiday season stress you out?

Thanksgiving (if you live in the U.S.) and Christmas are the 2 big approaching events.
Are you worried about what you're going to give your loved ones?
Maybe you're thinking about what to wear to the Christmas party?
Who you're going to stay with? The list goes on and on.

It's sad that what is supposed to be one of the most joyous times of the year
is usually the most empty and stressful for many people. If there's one advice
I would offer as we draw towards this great period of celebration and
thanksgiving, its this.

Spend time with people you truly love.

When it's all said and done, you'll forget the 6 or 7 course meal you had.
You'll soon forget about the presents you received and gave (even if they
included a JP Tod's Large Mocassino Handbag Camel), you'll forget the films you watched on TV.
But the laughter, love, stories and moments you shared with your loved ones
are the fond memories you'll remember forever and ever.

So start making preparations to spend time with your family and
friends and make this holiday season as fun-filled and memorable as you
possibly can. No driving up and down town for me this year.

Have a great day

Black Friday Sale Humor - Top 10 Fake Gucci Handbag Signs

TOP 10 SIGNS TO SHOW YOU BOUGHT A FAKE
GUCCI HANDBAG AT THE BLACK FRIDAY SALE

Okay, so Thanksgiving is upon us and what comes next…the Black Friday SALE!

So if you've been credit crunched into saving your nickels and quarters
like a Polar Bear in hibernation, Black Friday is probably the day you've had circled
on your calendar to wreak carnage on the wild life at the Shopping Mall.

Still, there's the temptation to go thrifty…mega-thrifty and go Fake.

Don’t do it! But if you (or someone you know) decide to go down that road and purchase
a Fake Gucci designer handbag, here are my top 10 signs to show you
(or they) just committed a crime
1.  Your designer handbag says GUKKI and not GUCCI.

2.  After you scream 'Yes We Can' at an Obama Rally, your  fake handbag

     choruses back 'No You Can't!'

3.  When your best friend sees you at the bus stop she shakes her head
and thinks 'Oh NO she didn't' while your worst enemy smiles and thinks
     'Oh YES she did'

4.  The authenticity card in your handbag is a discount card for the book
     'Real Handbags for Dummies'

5.  All the beggars in the City square stop begging when they see you
     walking by.

Discover 7 Tips to Distinguish an Authentic Designer Handbag from a Fake

You have finally decided to buy that designer handbag you have been dreaming about for months. You have being feasting your eyes on that designer handbag for months and months and finally the day has arrived when that Gucci or Fendi handbag takes its place in your wardrobe.

Still there is a nagging anxiety that has been bugging you about your latest luxury handbag. This anxiety has been further heightened by recent news you have seen on the television or read in the papers. You might have even heard some of your friends express their concerns when you went out window shopping. The fear that your next designer handbag could be a fake!

The very thought of it just makes my skin crawl. Just like you, I believe in purchasing only real, genuine items. Even though replica designer handbags at first glance bear a close resemblance to an original designer handbags, there are a few steps to ensure that your next purchase is an authentic designer bag.

1. I would advise you to first of all look out for an authenticity card. Many designers like Fendi, Burberry, Gucci and Prada include authenticity cards with their merchandise. These cards have basic, easily understood information about your designer handbag such as the model number plus a magnetic strip or bar code. If the designer handbag you purchased has an inside pocket, you will find your authenticity card in there.

2. Furthermore, some Fendi designer handbags come with their authenticity cards packaged in a sealed foil bag. You will find Prada enclose their cards in small individual envelopes with the Prada logo at the front. You will discover that one is similar to a Credit Card with a magnetic strip on the back and Prada written on the front. The other card has the item details plus the style number.

3. Designer merchandise are expensive for the simple reason that they have spent years building value into their name. Just the name of a designer leaves a certain impression in our minds. When I say Gucci Indy handbag, what springs to your mind. Cheap, ordinary and tasteless? Absolutely not! You imagine a woman with style, wealth and sophistication carrying a designer bag that attracts envious stares and regular complements. A woman who is not afraid to be the center of attention. Therefore, if the designer handbag you want to buy is at a price that looks to good to be true, then it probably is.

4. You will find that most authentic designer handbags have a signature logo on them. Authentic Prada handbags have a triangle metal logo attached to the front or side of their handbags. Authentic Fendi handbags have the inter-twining double F design around their merchandise. Burberry has the signature plaids with a brown background. Gucci have the signature G splashed all over their bags. If you notice a designer handbag with a funny looking logo, then this should immediately flash a red flag in your mind.

5. As your authentic designer handbag collection grows, you will notice that most designer handbags will have their signature brand name monogram lining. This is true for Louis Vuitton handbags, Gucci purses, Prada handbags and Fendi purses. This is just a way for the designers to differentiate their merchandise from their competitors.

6. This designer monogram is woven into the fabric. You will not find this with replica designer handbags. The linings are always smooth, silky and in some cases are even satin. The color of the lining depends on the outer color of the handbag and they always compliment each other. The lining on fake bags is usually a stiff fabric and no attention to detail is paid to the lining.

7. Finally, if you are buying a bag from a downtown roadside shop, then do not expect an authentic designer handbag. If the designer handbag is as cheap as chips, then do not expect to get an authentic designer handbag. If there is no logo to show that you are a buying a designer leather handbag or designer purse from Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Fendi or Burberry then you are definitely buying a fake.

An authentic designer handbag can be expensive but it will be an investment you can enjoy for years and years to come.

5 Things to Consider Before Starting Your Online Designer Handbag Business

So you love designer handbags? No one's disputing that. All we have to do is look in your wardrobe and stare in wonder at the various shapes, sizes, textures, colors and brands of designer handbags and wallets you have in there. Prada, Fendi, Gucci, Balenciaga, Miu Miu, Christian Dior...If it can be named, then its somewhere in your wardrobe.

But that's not enough. You want to step up to the plate and share your love for designer handbags with other people by starting an online business.

I congratulate your entrepreneurial aspiration and can assure that it can be quite profitable. However before you step out of your comfort zone and begin walking on water, I'd like you to consider the following.

1. Make sure there is a Hungry market - No use stocking and selling designer handbags that no one wants to buy. Yes, we know that special purple check clutch bag you bought from a designer store in downtown Tennessee while on holiday gets you stares whenever you go to a party.

However it might not necessarily appeal to a mass market when you sell it on your online store. So do some research and find out what styles are hot and are selling. You're in business first and foremost to make a profit and not to be cool.

2. Find a supplier for the items you want to sell - Hopefully you're in this for the long run so you'll want to find a supplier that has a variety of the handbags you want to sell. Your supplier should also be someone you can chat with and seek industry/product advice from. Also ensure the price you are charged allows you to make a profit and stay competitive.

3. Build your website ... fast and furiously - why fast and furiously? Because its at this stage that we all want to become all artistic and creative. I can assure you that some of the most ugly, unfriendly, full of copy websites out there are great money makers. Also there is something else you want to focus your attention and energy, time and money on and you cant do that until your website is up and ready.

A few necessities for your website will include a shopping cart to process orders, a merchant account to accept credit card payments, a disclaimer page, FAQ section, a little bit about you, a contact us page and you're more than ready to rock and roll.

4. Drive traffic to your website - Now this skill is what seperates the wannabes from the true pros online. Your ability to send traffic to your website. What's the use of having the best website on the planet if no one's going to visit. A few thing you can do to drive traffic include

- PPC - Pay Per Click advertising which is basically advertising on the major search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. People click on your ad and voila! They arrive on your website

- Advertising on comparison sites like pricegrabber, Nextag, Google shopping etc

- Article marketing - post an article related to designer handbags or fashion on one of the article directories. I would recommend ezinearticles.com or ideamarketers.com Place a little bio about yourself at the bottom of the article. When someone finishes reading your article, if they like what they see, they can click on the link in the bio at the bottom of your article which will lead them to your home page or any page you desire.

And there are other ways to drive traffic to your website. Don't forget word of mouth.

5. Take care of Your Customers - Some people think because they're online, it gives them the right to treat their customers like kitchen rags. No Ma'am. It very easy for your firm to be reported to an established authority who could black list your firm.

Also angry customers could post poisonous comments about your website on blogs, youtube, forums etc You get the picture. Treat them well and they'll become evangelists for your business. If you're not ready to treat them well...matter of fact treat them with excellence, then don't step into the ring.

So there you have it. 5 Things I think you should seriously consider before starting your own luxury designer business online. Did I miss anything? Please feel free to include your comments at the bottom.

Have a great day

Why do Girls Love Authentic Gucci Handbags?

When you think of or see a woman carrying a Gucci handbag what impression does she leave with you? A woman with class, sophistication and style. When you purchase your next Authentic Gucci Shoulder handbag and attend a public function with loads of people, do pay attention to the looks of the people around you when you sashay into the room with your Gucci Sukey Large Tote Bag or Gucci Pelham handbag. In the faces of the women in the room, you will detect envy and the men will slowly gravitate towards you.

A Gucci handbag is not just a simple leather embroidered carrier item necessary for the containment of girlie items like toiletries, make-up and spare change.

No girlfriend!

An authentic designer Gucci handbag speaks volumes about you and implies that you are a lady of style, sophistication and class. However, you might be thinking that having a genuine handbag is outside your reach. You might be wondering if you need to go into hibernation like a Polar Bear while you count your nickels and quarters till you get to that magical day when you’ve saved enough to buy your own authentic designer handbag.

You don’t have to suffer in the name of looking good. There is a little secret I would like to share with you. You can have your very own authentic Gucci handbag without blowing a hole in your finances the size of the Grand Canyon!

There are many websites online that sell authentic designer handbags from registered and reputable wholesalers.

How is this possible?

There are many reasons but one of the most obvious is LOW-OVERHEADS.

Try and get a customer rep to call you on the phone. Send an email on their contact us page (if they have one and if they don't, your warning lights should start blinking), enquire if they have the bag you want in stock as the last thing you want is to pay for an item and find out its out of stock.

Endeavour to go to a Gucci boutique or store to see and touch the bag you want to buy online. Sometimes the images you see on online stores do a disservice to the Gucci bags in terms of size and color.

Try and get a good deal but if its too good too be true, then it probably is.

Let us know a recent or memorable Gucci bag 'episode' you have had.

Have a great day

Do Tote Handbags Have a Purpose?

Do Tote Handbags Have a Purpose?
By Ashley Tomchick

Women now have all different styles of handbags out there that they can pick from today. Handbags and purses can be chosen based on designers, colors, budgets, activities, or you can just get a different one for every single outfit you won. Even though there are many styles out there, leather tote handbags have become one of the most popular options for all kinds of women today.

Take a look at the market and you'll find that huge amounts of different purses end up on the market each day. There are designer bags that are one of a kind. Some bags are made of mesh or vinyl and very cheap. There are shoulder bags, messenger bags, hobo bags, wristlets, satchel bags, and more for you to choose from. Not only are there handbags that are mass produced, but there are knock offs produced in other countries as well as clothing designers that produce top bags and try to get your business. Still the leather totes have remained one of the big fashion statements, almost being a necessity in any woman's wardrobe these days.

The small wristlet bags can be annoying because they are so small. You can't get much more in them than money, a credit card, and your ID. They can also fall of your wrist easily, which can be a problem. Then the shoulder bags are made in such a way that purse snatchers often target them and they can be difficult to keep up on your shoulder and often slide down. Hobo bags even have shoulder straps that are larger and difficult to deal with. For many women, the comfy double hGucci Beige Brown Jolie Large Tote 211970 Bagandles that come on leather tote handbags are comfortable, secure, and allow them to easily carry what they need.

Style, grace, and elegance are all embodied in these tote handbags. They definitely look amazing. You can get them in different colors to coordinate them with your outfits and they look good in many different social settings as well. There are tote handbags that come in other materials but leathers definitely provide a look that is soft and refined, which is what many women are striving for.

One reason many women really love tote handbags is because they have plenty of room, they are easy to carry, and definitely convenient as well. You can easily grip the handles of the handbags or you can carry them on the wrist area as well, which is a great feature that many women love. This makes it more difficult to forget your purse somewhere, unlike some of the other purses out there that you have to carry on the shoulder.

Tote handbags and hobo bags have a few similarities, but there are some huge differences too. The hobo bags appear a bit on the dumpy side, which is why so many people don't really like them. They often have fasteners and zippers that you have to get through to get to the things in your bag. Once you put things in hobo bags they often look very bulky, which doesn't help out your appearance in any way.

Leather tote handbags are different. They have square and classic lines that look very sleek when you carry them. They have a wide opening which allows you to easily remove anything you need from the bag. There are a few styles that may have some type of closure, but in most cases there are no closures on these bags to worry about.

Women enjoy being able to retrieve what they need in their purse without having to deal with closures. With the roomy interior of these totes, it is easy to put everything you need into them. Due to their structure, even when you put things in the bag, they still keep their shape and look great on the outside when you are carrying them.

Can You Have Too Many Designer Handbags?

I was watching a documentary show on the telly last week. It was about a celebrity fashionista. Part of the show involved a tour of her home. What particularly struck me was the amount of handbags and shoes she had in her wardrobe. I mean it was huge. Massive. Assorted. Colourful. She had enough shoes and designer handbags to open up a boutique in the most expensive retail space anywhere in the world. I was watching the program with a friend and we got into a heated discussion after the show ended. The core of our discussion centred on this question.

Can you have too many designer handbags?

Anita felt you could never have too many designer handbags and shoes while I felt too many could definitely be a bad thing. After thinking about the pros and cons about our discussion, I think a case can be made for both sides of the argument.

I’ll present my most forceful argument for each side of the discussion.

You can have TOO many designer handbags and shoes if you absolutely have no sense of fashion and style. Have you ever watched one of those celebrity award shows were the stars sashay down the red carpet in their wonderful outfits. At every one of these events there are always one or two celebrities who get it wrong when it comes to their fashion style.

Unfortunately, while almost every celebrity has at some point or the other made a fashion faux pas, some of them do it again and again and again. For these ones, having an endless and growing designer handbag, shoes or clothes collection is pointless as they continually commit fashion crime after fashion crime. Can you imagine someone combining a Tobacco Brown Gucci 203623 Pelham Large Shoulder Bag with a pink Burberry scarf on a purple and lemon striped dress? Nasty, I hear you say. For these types then having too many handbags and shoes is a definite no no.

This obviously then makes the case for having TOO many handbags and shoes easy. There will always be new amazing handbag designs and unforgettable designer shoes that will grace the shelves of the boutiques around the world season after season. Can you afford not to have the latest Jimmy Choo shoes or the new Louis Vuitton handbag or the Fendi Chocolate Brown  Braided Spy Bag 8BR511?

As long as you can justifiably combine what’s in your wardrobe to complement your look when you go out, then yes you can never have too many designer handbags and shoes.

Please add your 2 cents to the discussion by leaving a comment. Thank you.

Be Your Own Fashion Icon

I am sick and tired of seeing fashion clones on the streets of London, New York, Milan and Paris. Why do we constantly pander to the advice and gospel of so called fashion experts? Some of these ‘Experts’ don’t even know how to dress well. How dare you dress me when you can’t dress you?

Have you ever had this happen to you?

You go to a party with a new designer handbag or sexy outfit. You have a game plan. Your plan is to attract the most attention, envy and compliments from all who see you in your new attire. You step into the party and your game plan is working. All the men are slowly gravitating towards you. The girls in the corner are giving you the envious stares. It’s just as you imagined it would be. Then all of a sudden, from the corner of your eye, you spot one of your friends wearing exactly your outfit and carrying your Gucci Pelham designer handbag!

Unbelievable.

If you’re reading this and have experienced the above, then I understand the frustration you must have felt at that point. Instead of being the belle of the ball, you became Dolly the cloned sheep.

This wave of fashion experts is in my humble opinion creating a generation of fashion clones who feel fearful to try different things. Guaranteed you’ll make some fashion faux pas. Guaranteed you’ll sometimes get some funny stares. But if you’re sick and tired of looking like every Tom, Dick and Harry, then I want to encourage you to begin to experiment and cultivate your own look. A look that’s unique to you and you alone.

Be Your Fashion Icon and let people gravitate towards your unique style made by You!
